Separated At Birth?


Working in public relations at a Catholic school for my day job means I get to look at this new pope...a lot. And the similarities between these two yahoos is startling:

Creepy, sunken eyes and craggy faces? Check.

Funny looking robes? Check.

Involvement with an evil imperialist organization (Benedict with the Nazi Youth Party, Palpatine with the Empire)? Check.

Belief in a mysterious force that imbues them with special powers and sets them above their fellow man? Check.

Able to shoot lightning from their fingertips? To be determined...
